assessment

on tuesday the 13th of april, we did the assessment where we had to take apart the engine. we had to measure the wear of the cylinder bore, the main bearing and the bigend bearing, we used a micrometer to give us accurate readings.we did this in groups of three and it took us about 2 hours to complete the assessment and get it to tdc.i really enjoyed this assessment because i like the practicals and working with engines.

nitro mathane race bike

the nitro mathane race bike came here on monday, the bike had 4 cylinders, it had 1500bhp and it does 107 metres a second. it takes 1.2 seconds to get to 100 km/h, altho it is the 4th fastest bike in the world it takes $10000 just to run it in one race. i think it would be alot of fun to drive it but it's way to expensive to run it.
